Bailard strives to design investment vehicles and wealth management solutions to address our clients’ needs and our Bailard Wealth Management Sustainable, Responsible and Impact Investing (SRII) group is no exception. The goal of our SRII team is to integrate our client’s values into a portfolio with very similar risk and return characteristics as the broad market.
We are expanding our Wealth Management group to include a Portfolio Manager dedicated to our SRII team. The Portfolio Manager’s primary role will be ongoing management of existing client portfolios as well as the on-boarding and transition of new Wealth Management client portfolios. Working closely with our Investment Counselors, as well as directly with clients, the Portfolio Manager will assist in setting the tailored asset allocation targets for individual client portfolios, prepare client Investment Policy Statements, and take responsibility for ongoing monitoring and rebalancing to ensure compliance with appropriate allocation targets. Additional responsibilities include ad-hoc portfolio analysis, portfolio deconstruction and investment proposals. Depending on the successful candidates’ background and interests, the Portfolio Manager may have the opportunity contribute to areas such as fundamental equity research, ESG/SRI research and suitability assessment, corporate engagement work, and/or financial planning.
