Position Overview 
 Bailard is seeking an investment analyst to join its International Equities team to support portfolio managers and analysts for all non-U.S. equity strategies.  The role requires thorough portfolio analytics, reporting, model maintenance, and process improvement initiatives.  The investment analyst role offers hands-on experience across the full spectrum of portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities 
•    Prepare investment reports, portfolio analytics, and spreadsheet-based deliverables for internal use, client communications, and/or business development 
•    Maintain and update financial models, investment databases, and reporting tools used by the International Equities team 
•    Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support investment decision-making 
•    Perform quality control checks on investment data, models, performance attribution, and other reports to ensure a high degree of accuracy; collaborate with investment, client service, and operations teams to resolve issues 
•    Support process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability of the investment platform 

Qualifications 
•    Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, finance, or a related field 
•    Demonstrated ability to foster strong working relationships across teams and functions 
•    Strong aptitude for bridging the gap between quantitative data and written/verbal narratives 
•    Demonstrated ability to navigate complex systems, data sources, and workflows, synthesizing information across platforms to deliver accurate analysis 
•    Track record of attention to detail in high-impact, time-sensitive situations 
•    Proficient in Excel  
 
Preferred 

•    1-3 years of relevant professional experience in an investing role 
•    Knowledge of equity valuation, quantitative factors, portfolio analytics, and/or macroeconomic modeling  
•    Familiarity with programming/data tools (R, Python, SQL) 
•    Experience with financial data sets or platforms such as Bloomberg or FactSet

Location 
Hybrid position based in the San Francisco Bay Area 
 
Salary 
$90,000-$105,000

** The posted salary range is intended for an entry-level hire. Candidates with substantial related experience may be considered for compensation outside the posted range based on their qualifications and experience.
